Meet Woody & Paige – A Bonded Dachshund Duo Looking for Their Forever Home!

Woody (black & tan) and Paige (dapple) are a sweet, inseparable pair of 5 year old dachshunds who came to us bonded — and their love for each other is impossible to miss!

Paige is the social butterfly of the two, always ready to snuggle in your lap and share her affection. Woody is a little shy at first, but once he knows you’re a friend, he’ll happily join in on the cuddles too. Woody looks to Paige for reassurance, and together, they are the perfect team of love and companionship.

These sweet pups adore being with their people — snuggling, napping, and hanging out together is their favorite thing. They are both crate trained, house trained, and leash-trained, and they’ve done well with other dogs and even met children kindly.

Woody & Paige would thrive in a calm, loving home where they can spend plenty of time with their humans. They are loyal, gentle, and truly watch out for each other. PAIGE & WOODY are is available for adoption through K-9 Rescue of the Eastern Shore.

An adoption process is required to include filling out an online adoption application available at the following link --  https://www.k9rescuees.org/info/adoption

Veterinary and personal reference checks, and a home visit/meet-n-greet are required PRIOR to being approved to adopt.   The time frame for completing this process depends largely on how quickly references respond, your vet office is able to speak to us (some want written permission first), your landlord or HOA (if applicable) confirms their approval for a pet, & how your schedule aligns with that of our volunteer(s) for the Home Visit.
