Meet Cornbread!    Also known as Corndog the Magnificent, Nonodangyou, & Stophumpindat. He is a man of many names & mystery, but not a lot of history.  

This saucy southern boy was found wandering north of the Mason-Dixon line in search of, well we're not sure, but probably ladies to love.   Sadly, his recent "date" with a vet ended his romance period. Cornbread is now seeking a new family to herd... errr.. love.

Cornbread's hobbies include chasing shy dogs, barking at squirrels, playing with his furry friends (the outgoing ones), & cuddling in the big bed.  He is housetrained, leash trained, & loves riding in the car (to places other than vet).   Fluffy squeak toys don't stand a chance & Cornbread is usually up for raiding the trashcan, but only if there's a buddy around he can pin the blame on.

Cats & small critters are probably a no, but school age humans are OK.   An active home with a fenced yard would be paw-some.

CORNBREAD  is available for adoption through K-9 Rescue of the Eastern Shore.

An adoption process is required to include filling out an online adoption application available at the following link --  https://www.k9rescuees.org/info/adoption

Veterinary and personal reference checks, and a home visit/meet-n-greet are required PRIOR to being approved to adopt.   The time frame for completing this process depends largely on how quickly references respond, your vet office is able to speak to us (some want written permission first), your landlord or HOA (if applicable) confirms their approval for a pet, & how your schedule aligns with that of our volunteer(s) for the Home Visit.
