Starla’s nine little pups are known as the Cabbage Patch Kids --  Spud, Barry, Erbsen, Poppi, Sprout, Apple, Rose, Pepper, & Maisey.  They have a delightful mix of personalities, colors,  & we suspect a few different daddies.

SPROUT  is a buff black labradorable boy. His hobbies include drinking out of the toilet, convincing foster mom he is *constantly* starving, bringing all the toys outside, & growing like a weed.

Sprout is housetrained & crate trained, but could use some work on his leash skills. Cats are a question mark, as he hasn't really met many in his short life... but a dog-savvy cats would probably be OK.   People of all types are awesome & small humans with food to drop are extra AWESOME!.

Sprout will do best in a home with a fenced yard & dog buddy, but is willing to consider an apartment and/or life as a SBD (single black dog) for the right family.  An adopter that will commit to continued training (and perhaps even puppy classes with a trainer) would be very beneficial to help Sprout gain confidence & continue on the right path.

Veterinary and personal reference checks, and a home visit are required PRIOR to being approved to adopt.
