Darcy was found as a stray & sadly never reclaimed from the shelter.   She adores toys, belly rubs, & canine  buddies.  Cats are OK & small humans seem pretty cool too.

She is leash trained, housetrained &  *loves* to go on car rides, but prefers if they were all short & end at a McD's or Petco (not at a vet office).

She is not terribly fond of crates, but is A-OK hanging around the house & would LOVE to snuggle with you in the "big bed" if allowed.

DARCY  is available for adoption through K-9 Rescue of the Eastern Shore.

An adoption process is required to include filling out an online adoption application available at the following link --  https://www.k9rescuees.org/info/adoption

Veterinary and personal reference checks, and a home visit/meet-n-greet are required PRIOR to being approved to adopt.   The time frame for completing this process depends largely on how quickly references respond, your vet office is able to speak to us (some want written permission first), your landlord or HOA (if applicable) confirms their approval for a pet, & how your schedule aligns with that of our volunteer(s) for the Home Visit.
