Yoshi is a young, handsome and highly intelligent fella that is looking for his happily ever after. Initially found as a stray roaming the streets in Northampton County, Yoshi landed at our local animal control facility. He was very timid at the shelter, often huddled in the corner of his kennel. Once Yoshi was out of the shelter; however, we got an unexpected, pleasant surprise!

It quickly became apparent Yoshi was not always a street dog. He sits on command both verbally and non-verbally, willingly retrieves toys and tennis balls and also knows how to catch in mid-air, none of which was taught to him by us. The awesome combination of intelligence and motivation with both treats and also toys makes Yoshi a fun, enjoyable and easily trainable dog. Yoshi is crate trained and goes into his crate with ease upon command. He is also housetrained to a dog door in his foster home.

Yoshi is very well dog socialized and loves to play with dogs of all ages and sizes from puppy to mature gentle giant. His ideal forever home will have a fenced yard and also other dogs and/or children to keep him occupied. In lieu of a fenced yard, a responsible handler that will commit to confinement on leash will also be considered.
