Looking for an adorable, easily portable, active pup? Look no further than Theodore AKA Ted! Ted is a handsome fella that is expected to remain relatively small. He likes to stay busy and must be paired with another very active, tolerant dog or dogs. We have also discovered Ted likes children which would also help keep him busy. Since he can play a little rough, children ages 7+ are recommended. A young, active family would also be ideal as Ted is a bit of a spitfire that will need people that can keep up with him! Ted is accustomed to a fenced yard, which is also strongly preferred but not absolutely required.

Ted is already house and crate trained and he is also working on his basic training. An adopter that will commit to continued training and perhaps even puppy classes with a trainer would be very beneficial to help him continue on the right path.

 NOTE (for those over 65) -- As part of the application process, K9-ES asks that you provide a back up caretaker. Dogs are family & we want a human family member to step-up to take your new best friend in the event you are no longer able to care for him/her.... not for the dog to find themselves homeless once again in their declining years.

We all know that life happens, so those under the age of 65 are also highly encouraged to think about a back-up plan for your animals BEFORE you potentially find yourself unable to care for them.

On the application, there is a "comments" section where you can list the backups name, email address and phone number. Please fill that in as completely & specifically as possible.
