What’s not to love about a gentle giant?! Mac is an awesome balance of playfulness and snuggles that is sure to steal your heart. Mac is an intelligent boy that already knows an array of commands to include sit, down, go, gives his paws and high 5’s upon command.

Playing ball is his absolute favorite. Upon mentioning the word, "ball" he often locates one and brings it to you. Don’t have time to play? Mac will generally entertain himself, occasionally throwing you hints until you can help his cause. Rest assured, you can always grasp his full attention anytime you place a ball in his line of vision. While this guy loves to play, Mac also loves to snuggle on the couch for a good nap with his human and canine companions.

Like a typical Dane, Mac doesn’t tend to know his true size. He gets along beautifully with children of all ages; however, due to his size, older children in the home are most recommend so little ones are not accidently toppled over. Mac also loves playing with other dogs! He is the largest member of the pack and interacts with dogs as little as 15 pounds without the slightest issue. A home with another playful dog and a fenced yard would certainly be his ideal happily ever after.

Mac is house and crate trained and does well riding in the car. He also does well on a leash; however, could use a bit of fine tuning. When he sees another dog or people, he is often overly eager to meet new friends, becoming easily distracted.

If you have experience with Danes and think Mac may be a terrific addition to your family, please submit your application today!
